How to restore the iPhone, iPod etc when the device is disabled or when you have forgot your password and from a different computer

WARNING: It will reset and restore your iDevice, and the old data wont be available!

Step1: Switch of your device
Step2: Press your home button in one hand and switch on the device with other hand and take your hand off from the power button while continuing to hold the home button, till the usb cable image is displayed on the device.
Note: Pls do NOT put the device to DFU mode
Step3: Connect to your iTunes, If you are already connected, it will display mesaage that your iDevice is in recovery mode.
Step4: Click ok and Click on Restore from iTunes and say ok for the reset message that gets displayed
Step5: Leave the device connected to your iTunes, the device will restore and get restarted
Step6: You can setup your iDevice as a new one.
