Currently, am doing a research programme(PhD) in Computer Applications (Software Quality Assurance) . I hold, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Philosophy (CS), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelors degree in Mathematics.
I have also completed the certifications CSTE and CMST, awarded by QAI Global.
My life's epicenter is QA and I constantly organize other factors to suite this. I love flaunting the QA Grid.
How do I define Quality? There are already a number of definitions and explanations available out there.
But it is a very subjective term that depends on the satisfaction of the end user. What may be of utmost quality to one person may not be the same with another person. Because their requirements or usage may vary.
For me it is the 'Wow!' factor that is emancipated from the user after using the application, the 'Cool' effect that draws more users, the 'Super Cool' factor of being cost effective and the 'Amazing' way the system is up to date and the over all 'Awesome' experience by the user.
So, How do I fit in all of the above in one single phrase that will define Quality. This is how I define it.
"Quality is synergistic phenomena experienced by the user(s) when the product or a service satisfies the requirements, achieves business goals, exceeds expectations, incredibly usable with real-time servicing & updates, optimal performance and cost effective"
